CorSera: AC Milan met agent of Chelsea striker; negative outcome

By Isak Möller -

Alvaro Morata has been named as one of Milan’s primary targets for the attack, with the Spaniard having his heart set on a move back to Italy.

AC Milan’s CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli met with Morata’s agent in London recently, where the potential transfer was discussed. The Spanish striker reportedly wants to return to Serie A, having played for Juventus for two seasons.

However, as reported by Corriere Della Sera, the outcome of the meeting wasn’t positive. After last summer, when Morata snubbed Milan for Chelsea, there is still a tension between the parties and Morata’s demands of €9m per year certainly doesn’t help things.
