According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera, as well as Gazzetta yesterday, Bonaventura has decided to undergo a knee operation.

The midfielder has been struggling with a knee inflammation as of late, which has kept him out of play for several weeks. In addition to this, when he did play, the knee never seemed to be fully fit.

Therefore, Bonaventura has taken the decision to undergo a surgery in order to resolve the issues. It’s expected that he will be kept on the sidelines for up to five months, which certainly is a big blow for Milan.

Mino Raiola, Jack’s agent, will arrive in Milan today to stay close to the Italian. With that said, there could also be negotiations with Leonardo regarding Ibrahimovic.
