It’s not exactly a secrete that AC Milan are working on what could be a very exciting summer mercato for the fans. Indeed, it seems the Rossoneri will make up for the lack of reinforcements in January.
Heading into the January window, a centre-back signing seemed like a certainty but Milan only signed a striker, namely Marko Lazetic. In other words, they decided to gamble and wait until the summer, when they can get their primary targets.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), Milan are working on the signing of Sven Botman for the defence. The Dutch defender is getting ‘closer and closer’ to the club as talks are at an advanced stage.
In addition to Botman, the Rossoneri are also pushing for the signing of Renato Sanches. The relations with Lille are fantastic but even so, if Maldini and Massara manage to pull this off, they deserve a lot of praise.
