CorSera: Calabria set to stay at Milan as deal for Spurs defender vanishes

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan look set to make no changes to their right-back department this summer as things stand, according to a report.

There is an abundance of different speculation surrounding the club at the moment including the idea that Aurier could arrive from Spurs to replace Calabria, with the management apparently keen on securing an upgrade at right-back.

However, sporting director Ricky Massara addressed the rumours that Aurier could arrive from Spurs during Tuesday’s press conference at Milanello, claiming he is ‘not a target’ and adding that Calabria is not on the market.

According to what il Corriere della Sera are reporting on Wednesday (via MilanNews), Aurier is not destined to become a Milan player.

The chances of his arrival have vanished and therefore Davide Calabria, who seemed close to farewell, will remain in Pioli’s squad for next season.
