Seven games remain of the Serie A season and AC Milan are just one point clear at the top following the draw against Bologna last night. It’s not ideal, but the Scudetto destiny remains in the Rossoneri’s hands.
As pointed out by today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera (via MilanNews), it was a missed opportunity for Milan last night. They had 33 shots and still failed to find the back of the net, which says a lot about the draw.
Stefano Pioli’s men gave their all on the potch but just lacked the final touch and quality to score. And when they managed to hit the target, Skorupski was in the way and that didn’t exactly help them.
Napoli are now just one point behind and Inter are four points behind, with a game in hand. This means that it will come down to the wire in the Scudetto race, the most exciting one we have had in many years.
