Yesterday was meant to be Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s first day at Milanello after securing his return as an advisor, however he was unable to attend due to coming down with the flu.
This morning’s edition of Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan) recalls that Ibrahimovic, who was just appointed as a consultant of RedBird Capital and an advisor to Milan, had to postpone his debut at the training ground.
He was going to arrive on Thursday but the team were given an extra day off after the away win against Newcastle, and then yesterday Zlatan didn’t attend because he got a fever which he didn’t want to run the risk of spreading.
It is not excluded that Ibra could be in the stands at San Siro for the game against Monza on Sunday for the game at 12:30 CET, if he feels better. One thing is certain: the Swede can’t wait to start his new adventure.
He needs to learn so much from Galliani. Hopefully he stays next to Uncle Fester during the game and picks his brain the entire time.
