Zlatan Ibrahimovic could not only make his long-awaited return to the match day squad but he could also get some minutes on Friday against Torino, a report claims.
According to what Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Ibrahimovic has returned to training with the rest of the Milan squad and is therefore finally closing in on a return that has been eight months in the making.
The Swedish striker is expected to be available for Friday’s match against Torino at San Siro and should therefore be named as part of the squad, which should give a big boost to the dressing room in what is a difficult moment for the Rossoneri.
In addition to that, the paper even claims that Zlatan could come off the bench in the latter part of the game, as he has around 10-15 minutes in his legs. It will of course depend on the game situation and Pioli’s plans too.
“He’s not ready yet” – Pioli after the next few games.
More like “still in May”.
Only Zlatan can save us now.
