January looks set to be a busy month for the AC Milan management as they are essentially working on three different fronts at once.
While a number of potential signings continue to be linked with some close to getting over the line, there is also the issue of sales to deal with, but not only that as two major renewals are also on the table.
Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu have become an increasingly major part of the Rossoneri’s resurgence and both are currently under contract until June of this year, meaning there is an urgency to resolve their future.
According to this morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), the Milan management are working not only on the January transfer market, but also on the renewals of the aforementioned.
Despite this, the paper claims that there is optimism filtering from Casa Milan regarding the outcome of both negotiations, with the belief that the duo will eventually put pen to paper on new contracts.
