CorSera: Milan could target Dybala but wage demands must be lowered

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are looking to bring in an attacking midfielder this summer and Charles De Ketelaere has been heavily linked with the club. However, there are also other options for the Rossoneri, including Paulo Dybala.

The 28-year-old’s contract with Juventus will expire at the end of the month and he’s looking for a new club. Inter have been in pole position for quite some time but as they are expected to sign Romelu Lukaku, the negotiations have slowed down.

According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera, as cited by MilanNews, Dybala could become a target for Milan but only on one condition: his wage demands must be lowered. Even though it’s a free transfer, the operation is currently too expensive anyway.

He has asked for €7m per year in the negotiations with Inter and that is too much for Milan. In case the negotiation doesn’t lead anywhere, and Dybala decides to lower his demands, then the Rossoneri could enter the race.

  1. Going for this guy is a mistake wen we can go for CDK with CDK we have one young and highly talented attacking midfielder for the next ten years with dybala you have one injury prone attacking midfielder with high salary not to mention that wen when someone shines more than him he starts throwing tantrums like he did wen CR7 was at juve so this guy is not worth the problems he still thinks he is the new Messi!

  2. And if we sign this guy and give him like 6m then Jorge Mendes agent of Rafael Leao is going to ask for 8 or 9m for Leao!So all and all signing this guy is just going to bring unnecessary problems to the team!

    1. Piru, at least you understand. Sign him at his demands and you screw up the whole wage structure of the team. Every other starter will be at your door asking for a raise.
“Free” signings never are free. Besides asking for more in pay than deserved, exorbitant commissions are also requested.
Besides all that, he’s just not worth that much, tons of unfulfilled promise. And how did the last few transfers from Juve work out for Milan?

  3. Milan should try and secure dybala now before it too late, afterall dybala is a talented player that has already understand the serie A game
