Olivier Giroud might not be the only signing for the attack made by Milan for the attack this summer. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s recovery is uncertain and a long stop would force the Rossoneri to act on the market.
The Rossoneri, as with any position on the pitch, are monitoring several players with the help of their scouting department. According to today’s edition of Corriere Della Sera, as cited by MilanNews, they do have a dream signing for the attack.
Mauro Icardi is the player in question, the former Inter captain who currently is at Paris Saint-Germain. The Argentine has been on the sidelines quite a lot in the French capital and a loan move to Serie A could perhaps do him well.
The main obstacle is his hefty salary of €10m per year, but if PSG are willing to cover a part of it, then Milan could be an option. In addition to Icardi, the Rossoneri are also keeping tabs on the Sassuolo star Giacomo Raspadori.
