CorSera: The two reasons Milan have said no to signing Juventus man

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have no interest in the idea of signing Mario Mandzukic during the January transfer window, a report has claimed.

According to Calciomercato.com – who cite il Corriere della Sera – the Croatian striker is not a target for the Rossoneri during the upcoming winter mercato.

Zvonomir Boban and Paolo Maldini have said no to the idea of signing the 33-year-old for two reasons: number one being that he is bad for the locker room and number two the salary that he would demand.

The same outlet (via MilanNews.it) claimed just last week that Manduzkic is among the targets that Maldini and Boban have drawn up but that the striker ‘seems hesitant’ about the possibility of moving to Milan.

A shock report from il Giornale (via Goal) last month reported that Milan had agreed personal terms with Mandzukic and that Juventus had given the green light for him to join.
