CorSport: Calabria continues recovery after knee surgery – when he could be back

By Isak Möller -

A little over a week ago, Davide Calabria underwent knee surgery to take care of an injury he sustained in the first leg against Man Utd. It was a success and the full-back is now working hard to recover.

The right-back has had a great season with the Rossoneri and it’s a shame that he will miss the upcoming games, especially given their importance. However, he will be back in action for the team before the end of the season.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by Calciomercato.com, it will take about three weeks from now to see Calabria back on the pitch. He could thus be back for the game against Genoa on the 18th or Sassuolo on the 21st.

And if all goes well, he could be back from start for the encounter with Lazio on the 26th, which would be a big boost for the Rossoneri. However, the important thing now is to proceed with the recovery without haste.
