Gianluigi Donnarumma will leave AC Milan this summer should the club fail to secure Champions League football, a report claims.
The Rossoneri head into the final round of games on Sunday knowing they must beat SPAL and hope for a slip up from Atalanta and/or Inter – who face Sassuolo and Empoli at home respectively.
Whether Milan secure Champions League football or not will likely have a huge bearing on the club’s summer strategy, and that could mean big name departures.
According to il Corriere dello Sport, failing to qualify for a Champions League spot would mean that Donnarumma will leave.
The 20-year-old has been linked with PSG and Manchester United and his salary of €6million-a-year makes him one of the main candidates to leave if Ivan Gazidis, Leonardo and company need to raise funds.
According to reports on Monday, Donnarumma responded following when asked about his future: “I prefer not to talk about it.”
