CorSport: Enquiries arrive from Turkey as Milan look to offload forward duo

By Oliver Fisher -

One of the most important elements of AC Milan’s summer transfer window will be their ability to sell players to generate funds, and two forwards are in demand.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), two Turkish teams have knocked on the doors of Casa Milan to enquire about the possibility of signing Ante Rebic and Divock Origi.

Milan’s stance on the two players is clear: they will not consider loans but only permanent deals in order to be able to raise cash from their departures and thus self-finance the incoming transfer market.

The aim is to reinforce the attacking department after the departure of Brahim Diaz and also the midfield given the injury sustained by Ismael Bennacer which will see him miss several months next season.

While awaiting the arrival of Daichi Kamada – which should take place this week – Milan are hoping that Galatasaray’s interest in Origi becomes concrete, while Wolfsburg are also keen on Rebic in addition to Besiktas and Fenerbahce.
