CorSport: Genoa want Colombo while Frosinone eye Brescianini – Milan’s plan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to resolve the future of several of their young players including Lorenzo Colombo and Marco Brescianini, a report claims.

Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) writes about the future of Colombo, who is back from a season-long loan deal with Lecce where he played 34 times and scored six goals as well as adding two assists.

The Milan Primavera graduate is in the sights of Alberto Gilardino’s Genoa, the former Rossoneri striker who guided the Grifone back to Serie A after just one year in the second flight.

However, Stefano Pioli wants to first evaluate him during the preseason retreat with Milan to see if he can be of immediate use to the cause, before possibly endorsing a new loan deal.

The same paper claims that Brescianini is destined for Frosinone. There was a meeting yesterday morning between the Rossoneri management and the sporting director of the Ciociari – Guido Angelozzi – which was positive.

The midfielder, whose contract with Milan expires on 30 June 2024, will leave on a permanent basis. Milan will keep 50% on any future resale.
