Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not expected to be at AC Milan’s home game against Monza this afternoon because he is still suffering from the flu, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) talks about today’s match between Milan and Monza, and the great anticipation at San Siro for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s debut in the role of senior advisor to Redbird and the Rossoneri.
However, his presence in the stands for the match against Monza is not a given, and is linked to his condition. The former striker has been hit by a strong flu in the last three days and even today his presence is in doubt.
After his official appointment as a consultant to the owner Cardinale, Zlatan was supposed to have a meeting with the team and the coach at Milanello on Friday, but the meeting was cancelled due to fever.
Yesterday too, for the same reason, he didn’t show up at the training ground, today it will depend on how he feels. But it’s only a question of time.
