CorSport: Ibrahimovic will be at Milanello from Monday amid recovery progress

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is getting closer and closer to a return, six months after undergoing serious knee surgery. The Swede has done really well in the recovery process and will soon join his teammates in training, a report claims.

The 41-year-old played the second half of last season basically without an ACL, but still managed to make a difference. He took part in one or two full training sessions per week, preserving his energy for the games, and also had to drain his knee of fluids often.

He thus opted for surgery after the season and he has since been recovering from the procedure. According to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic will start work at Milanello from Monday, carrying out a personalised program most likely.

He will also join the team for the training camp in Dubai and it remains to be seen when he will be able to sprint again. The idea is to have him match-ready by January/February, always proceeding with great caution.

  1. Ibra will make a difference once again, as he was doing it always!

Regarding the ACM logo from the other article (comments there are closed) I think the current logo is the most beautiful when compared to all older versions but there is one thing that puzzles me: if we are rossoneri then why the logo starts with black stripe instead of red??? Only the logo from 1960’s starts with red stripe. All other logos start with black stripe but we are rossoneri not nerorossi. It’s unlogical if you ask me!
