AC Milan are still considering a number of potential profiles for the role of attacking midfielder including RB Leipzig star Marcel Sabitzer.
According to this morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan have not settled on just one profile who could be the replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu but are studying various different names to fill the void.
The candidacy of Marcel Sabitzer from Leipzig remains strong, given that his contract expires at the end of the 2021-22 season and he does not appear close to renewing. However, Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech is also on the list, as well as other profiles such as Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow.
The Rossoneri managers are considering who is the right target for the club and it appears that they will not be rushed into making a decision. It could well be that a cautious approach pays off, given that the management must get this one right.
