CorSport: Milan have three contract issues to solve as Juventus, PSG and Barcelona circle

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have three contract situations that they must try and resolve with Mino Raiola sooner rather than later, according to a report.

Il Corriere dello Sport takes stock of the Rossoneri’s delicate situations regarding contracts, with Jack Bonaventura (deal until 2020), Gianluigi Donnarumma (2021) and Alessio Romagnoli (2022) all facing crunch talks over their futures.

The paper starts by confirming that Juventus are still hinting at interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma, however for the time being they are coping just fine with Szczesny.

Donnarumma loves Milan, however it is possible that the club could choose to cash in if they cannot find an agreement over a renewal, with PSG monitoring the situation.

For Romagnoli meanwhile, the report claims that there are figures inside Milan who believe the captain is not exactly the ideal central defender, but there are no doubting his qualities and consistency this season.

Last summer Atletico Madrid and Barcelona both made multiple enquiries which were rejected, but things can change, while talks over a renewal at Milan until 2024 are now open.

Finally, Bonaventura is considered a handy player to have due to his technical qualities which could be especially important in such a difficult moment.

During the last meeting between Raiola and Milan, it was agreed that the issue of a new contract would be dealt with after a good deal of playing time.

For a player like Bonaventura, though, it would not be a problem to find a suitor if he leaves on a free transfer.
