CorSport: Milan make stance clear on midfielder as Torino continue to lurk

By Isak Möller -

It seems that there will be a midfield revolution at AC Milan ahead of next season. Lucas Biglia and Jack Bonaventura have already left the club and although a signing is expected, Rade Krunic could remain.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by Calciomercato.com, Torino are very interested in the midfielder’s services. Marco Giampaolo has been announced as their new head coach and he wants to reunite with Krunic starting next season.

However, when approached by the Turin side, Milan made it clear that they don’t want to part ways with the Bosnian. He registered 18 appearances (and one assist) for the Rossoneri this past season but only six of them were from start.

That being said, he’s an important player for depth and although he hasn’t been as successful as his former Empoli teammate Ismael Bennacer, there is room for improvement. Hopefully, Stefano Pioli can enhance his qualities.
