By Oliver Fisher -

Four clubs are interested in signing Rafael Leao from AC Milan this summer with his replacement already identified, a report claims.

According to this morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), Milan are ready to consider any offers for Leao with the interested of Marseille, Wolverhampton and Everton and Borussia Dortmund mentioned over the past few days.

The Milan management had a meeting with Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent, and discussed his future as well as other market situations. The Rossoneri have set a valuation of around €30m for Leao, who they paid a similar fee for to sign him from Lille in 2019.

In the event of Leao’s exit, Sampdoria’s Mikkel Damsgaard looks to be the man earmarked to replace him. The 20-year-old has impressed at the European Championships with Denmark, and Samp value their talented young winger at €30m. The price is negotiable though and it is probably also possible to insert a counterpart into the deal to lower the outlay.
