CorSport: Milan want one more signing after Man Utd defender – Schalke, Chelsea duo eyed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to complete the transfer window with one final signing for the defence, according to a report.

As il Corriere dello Sport reports on Sunday (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have closed the acquisition of Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, who today will sign a one-year loan deal.

However, the management remain determined to sign a new central defender. The hot name at the moment is Ozan Kabak of Schalke 04, but alternatives are also evaluated such as Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger and Fiorentina’s German Pezzella.

Tiemoue Bakayoko has completely slipped from Milan’s grasp however, and in the end he will team back up with Gennaro Gattuso at Napoli.

Another midfielder will not arrive, the paper claims, and the forward market has closed with the purchase of Jens Petter Hauge from Bodo/Glimt earlier in the week.
