CorSport: Milan’s top managerial target already has deal with ‘great English club’ – Man Utd linked

By Oliver Fisher -

Massimiliano Allegri would reject the chance to re-join AC Milan this summer as he already has an agreement with another club, it is claimed.

Since Sunday’s 4-2 Derby della Madonnina defeat to Inter, speculation appears to have ramped up regarding who could take over from Pioli, who will leave at the end of the season if a top six finish is not achieved.

A number of different names have been linked by a number of different outlets, but La Gazzetta dello Sport are maintaining the stance that Allegri – who won Milan’s last Scudetto in 2010-11 – is the first choice target for directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonomir Boban.

According to Corriere dello Sport though, any approach from an Italian club will be rejected by Allegri, including one from Juventus who are struggling under Maurizio Sarri at present.

This is because he already has a deal with a ‘great English club’ ahead of next season. The Premier League side in question are not named, although he has been heavily linked with Manchester United.
