CorSport: Rebic has convinced Pioli – the Croatian is ready to enter the XI vs. Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan winger Ante Rebic has made a full recovery from his elbow injury and could start the game against Napoli, a report claims.

Rebic dislocated his elbow during the away game against Crotone which kept him out for more than a month, but he has returned to the fold with substitute appearances against Udinese and Hellas Verona, playing 19 minutes against the former and 45 against the latter.

As reported by il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive), Rebic looks set to return to his role as the starting left winger against Napoli. Although Rafael Leao replaced him more than adequately, the work rate of the Croatia international is enough to convince Pioli.

The Portuguese will be decisive as a substitute, being able to inject pace and energy on the left or to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In the future the hierarchies could change, but for Rebic the chance to resume the chemistry with Theo Hernandez is also a big positive.

Meanwhile, Mateo Musacchio and Andrea Conti are also recovering well they will come in handy during this phase that precedes the Christmas break, when Milan have a game virtually every three days.
