CorSport: Romagnoli forced to wait as Lazio must define Acerbi’s future

By Isak Möller -

Alessio Romagnoli’s contract will expire at midnight and he’s thus ready to leave AC Milan, seven years after joining the club. A move to his boyhood club Lazio awaits but he will have to wait a few days, a report claims.

Romagnoli will hand over the captain’s armband to Davide Calabria as his departure is more or less decided now. Lazio have been in talks with him for quite some time but will need to define one situation before closing the deal.

According to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Lazio must define the future of Acerbi, who has been linked with Milan. He’s almost certain to leave but the destination is not yet decided, as the Rossoneri have taken a step back in their pursuit.

In any case, Romagnoli’s move to Lazio is just a matter of time and he will say goodbye to Milan. Two throphies and a lot of respect is what he gained from the experience, now ready to try his wings elsewhere.

  1. We will take Acerbi and PAY for him so Lazio can take Romagnolli for free. Brilliant Red$hit…oops I meant RedBird!

  2. Acerbi is better than romagnoli, pity he’s 34 or whatever so you’d expect 1-2 more good years but he’s very good, underrated

    1. Is this serious? Or just sarcasm?. If your coment serious , you should stop use your weed . Lord acerbi already trash in his young age in AC Milan and now after already 34 years old you say he is better?
