Rafael Leao is set to undergo fitness tests at Milanello on Wednesday morning as a last-ditch attempt to see if he has recovered in time for the EuroDerby, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the Portuguese forward is a serious doubt for AC Milan as the Rossoneri gear up to take on Inter in the Champions League semi-final.
Stefano Pioli spoke on Tuesday about how Leao will not give up in his attempts to be fit for the game, but it is the training session on Wednesday morning that will really provide the answers.
Leao suffered an abductor injury on Saturday in the 2-0 win over Lazio and tests will be ongoing all day to try and see if he can play any role at San Siro.
It seems highly unlikely that the former Lille attacker will be able to start the game but Pioli would like to have him on the bench.
