Former AC Milan defender Alessandro Costacurta has moved to reassure fans that technical director Paolo Maldini seems very calm at the moment.
There is currently some worry surrounding the current state of affairs at Milan because the 19th Scudetto triumph has been followed by four weeks of uncertainty, starting with the change in ownership from Elliott Management to RedBird Capital.
Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will be officially out of contract tomorrow and there is no official renewal as of yet, while transfer targets such as Sven Botman and Renato Sanches are slipping away because of the delays despite months of groundwork having been done.
Costacurta spoke during an interview on Sky on Wednesday afternoon and he commented on the situation linked to the renewals of Maldini and Massara, which are yet to be unblocked, revealing that the former is calm.
“I think there is a change of ownership which is the central aspect. It seems to me that they are still carrying on the discussions started in the last few times,” he said (via MilanNews).
“Of course maybe this delay doesn’t make a good impression, but I understand that with the change of ownership you have to understand who has to sign and who has to shut up. Paolo always answers me on WhatsApp and he seemed very serene.”
Football greats who are bigger milanisti than us here even agree that there has been a delay.
Then some dumb fans who don’t even know the way into the San Siro, who don’t even belong to any Milan Fan Club, who never pay any dues, who don’t even buy merchandise from the club, will just pick up their phones to be replying nonsense over the Internet that everything is ok and that there’s no delay in our mercato.
Wake up!
Wake up? No you need to shut the F up
Hey c’mon bro, I said “dumb fans”, I never knew I was referring to you.
Well, I you’re dumb, I can’t be sorry for you, you just gotta live with it bro.
No smiling in the hood bro.
Hey John, seriously, shut the F up.
Are you some robot or something “shut the F up” is what you’re programmed to say?
Be articulate, educational, constructive and communicative in your submissions.
You know what?
I just give up on you.
Just do you, it may hurt you, but ala it’s your brain.
Bozo!
Well… One of the reasons for the “delay in our mercato” is the FACT that the mercato isn’t open yet in Serie A. 🙂
Well, that shouldn’t slow down the work for a serious club who was just crowned Serie A champions.
Deals can still be done, and then finalised and deposited when the window is opened.
Bayern just signed Saido Mane and the transfer window isn’t opened yet in Germany.
Borusia Dortmond just sold Haaland to Man City, and the window for international transfers isn’t open yet.
Did you read the article? If so did you understand what Billy said?
No sir, I’m willing to learn from you prof
Here is your lesson:
Massimo Ambrosini at March:
“Kalulu? Credit must be given to Paolo Maldini. Speaking with him, off camera, he tells me: ‘Kalulu has become a serious player. So why do I have to spend money to get another defender. Either I get one that is a top player or I stay with the ones I have because they give me guarantees.“
Paolo Maldini regarding financial and power demand during Chinese takeover:
“This news, among other things, has been put forward by ‘anonymous’ sources, across channels and people I’ve known for 30 years, aiming to discredit me as a person to justify the failure to find an agreement.”
Conclusion:
Do not trust anonymous sources.
“Costacurta spoke during an interview on Sky”
_Anonymous?
Shaft in your brains.
Besides for everyone who cares to read in this blog knows I have and will never banter M&M.
I know it’s not their fault, but damn y’all just gotta admit it, the pace of mercato ain’t good.
First, the timing of the sale, and then other things, so don’t just jump on the beat to banter words, read the anticident, read man.
John, you’re not working in Milan alongside Maldini nor you have a fkin clue about what’s going on. Now shut the F up.
He obviously didn’t read the article
Some comments are disgusting and thrash. Im a Ghanaian but im much more Milanisti than some so called fans of AC Milan. Those that are dumb and visually impaired should shut up their long beak.
Maldini is calm; so I’m sure that means there will be some announcement tomorrow about his renewal and Ricky M too.
