Samuele Ricci to AC Milan is a deal that will be done soon but some counterparts could head to Torino, a report has claimed.
Earlier today, various reliable sources confirmed that Milan are now very close to sealing a deal worth €22m plus bonuses for Ricci, after positive contacts over the past few hours.

The Torino captain is someone that has been linked with the Rossoneri for months now and the groundwork had seemingly been laid, as Matteo Moretto revealed.

According to La Stampa, Ricci to Milan is ‘a deal that promises to be lightning fast, given that the Rossoneri club is convinced that it will close between today and tomorrow to give Max Allegri a new midfielder’.
With Ricci, they already have an agreement on everything for the next four years with a salary tripled compared to the €1m he earns with the Granata. They have several cards to play to convince Torino, such as the disappointing end of the season of Vanoli’s team which certainly did not help Ricci.

Ricci, along with Leoni on defense for 25-30 million and Chiesa for 12-15 million should all amount to around 65 million. I think that’s great use of spending the money we have.

I would keep Colombo. If we need to save €€€ for other areas it can be in not getting another 30M striker. Gimenez deserves a shot at being the no. 1 with a full preseason under his belt without being sent to the bench by Vlahovic. I think Colombo has 10 goals off the bench in him if he plays with this squad. Then Immobile on a free as the No. 3.
Colombo can’t even get more than 6 goals as a starter. He isn’t good enough for a top team. He’s too slow and doesn’t have any attributes that can compensate for his lack of pace. His movement is average, his hold up play is average, he has a powerful shot. There’s a reason he ends up on loan. They’ve been waiting 5 years for him to explode, it’s not going to happen. Someone like Piamonti, a proven Serie A goalscorer, would be a good back-up.
We are doomed if Colombo is our second option
Watching is highlights, I see more of a fighter, a Tonali-esque type more than a playmaker. Is that safe to conclude? That would actually explain why we’re also pushing for Jashari.

He’s more of a #8 like Tonali. In my opinion a midfield of Modrić – Xhaka – Ricci would be perfectly balanced.
