Watch: De Ketelaere’s incredibly frustrated reaction after missed chance vs. Monza

By Oliver Fisher -

Charles De Ketelaere was once again just inches away from getting his first AC Milan goal after a long wait, but once again it just would not fall his way.

The points should have been made certain in the late stages of the 1-0 win against Monza on Saturday when Tonali’s shot was saved superbly and De Ketelaere failed to put away a feed he got from the rebound, seeing his effort blocked by the defender.

After realising that he had not scored, the Belgian showed an understandably frustrated reaction as he continues to spurn big opportunities to finally get that first goal which many feel could light a spark.

  1. He was wide open at first but his team rather passed it to the rear. That’s why he’s frustrated. It’s okay as long as the team wins ma boi.

  2. We’ve seen it took Tonali and Leao time to settle in. If he clicks next year, we will have a very talented player. He’s young, moved to a different league and country, and a step up in competitiveness. He may not work out but we need to give him time to at least settle in – same for Adli. And maybe Origi, but he is more experienced so i expected more earlier on.

    1. Yes. CDK is going to suck for the first two years of his contract, then he’s going to have a good 3rd year, and excellent 4th year, refuse to renew and then leave on a free after the 5th year😜
