The squad that AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has available for the preseason retreat in Dubai has been boosted by a new arrival, a report claims.
As reported by MilanNews, Charles De Ketelaere arrived in Dubai late yesterday evening and joined his team-mates at the training camp in the United Arab Emirates. Today the Belgian will train together with the rest of the squad, having been on a post World Cup vacation.
The expectation currently is that De Ketelaere will be available for a portion of the match on Friday against Liverpool. Pioli’s team are scheduled for an afternoon training session at the Dubai Police Club Stadium today, after a double session on Monday and yesterday’s friendly against Arsenal.
De Ketelaere will be hoping to use the break and the upcoming friendlies to light a spark after a difficult start to 2022-23 following his arrival from Club Brugge and a disappointing World Cup with Belgium.
