Charles De Ketelaere is still waiting for his first AC Milan goal and his recent performances have come under scrutiny, but he is in the right place to develop.

However, the report mentions how there are some precedents which prove Stefano Pioli’s methods work in time. Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao were both underwhelming in their first year with the Rossoneri and have become devastating in their respective roles and with their respective qualities.
Then there is even a more recent example in Brahim Diaz, who had a very difficult season last year as he did not score from September 25 onwards, but he is regaining confidence in his own means.
In order for Pioli’s method to be effective and successful, there must be the maximum willingness of De Ketelaere to leave behind what has been a difficult start, something which he seems determined to do as per the coach.
“We must respect the growth and adaptation times. It is normal he is a bit down in the dumps, but he has everything we expected; he must continue as he is doing. He has the quality to influence our attacking phase, but he must do more. He knows it too,” he said.
The qualities are there for all to see and Milan’s game is potentially perfect to enhance them, so the explosion could be just around the corner.
