De Ketelaere’s touch map from Milan debut perfectly shows his style – photo

Charles De Ketelaere’s first 25 minutes as an AC Milan player has certainly caused a positive reaction given the encouraging signs from the Belgian.

Although he didn’t manage to get a goal or an assist, his movement and technique were clearly on display as he instantly became a link between midfield and attack. The 21-year-old’s touch map – as seen on La Gazzetta dello Sport – shows just how much De Ketelaere wants to get involved, as he had touches on the edge of each box and on both flanks.

    1. If you’re looking for an extremely explosive and flamboyant #10 like Kaka / Rui Costa well we won’t find it in CdK. As I said, he’s more of a modern type of player. Play effectively, read the game well, position himself well. Getting the job done without needing to get an applause on every move he makes.

        1. Comparing to Kaka & Rui Costa (even further, Savicevic, Baggio) then he wouldn’t get an applause. And that’s by no means that I degrading his talent. Just a different type of player.
