Tijjani Reijnders of AZ Alkmaar

De Telegraaf: Milan and AZ Alkmaar working towards Reijnders deal – the latest

Further confirmation has arrived that AC Milan have an agreement over personal terms with Tijjani Reijnders, and an agreement on transfer fee isn’t far away either.

According to the latest from De Telegraaf, Reijnders has agreed a five-year contract with Milan in principle ahead of a potential move and is hoping to make the move to Italy this summer.

AZ Alkmaar and Milan are approaching each other in terms of the transfer fee to be paid for the 24-year-old, but there is still a gap of several million between the offer put forward and the demands of the Eredivise club.

However, there is a willingness from all parties involved to try and find a meeting point so that Reijnders can join the Rossoneri and play Champions League football next season.

After plenty of updates from Italian sources, this marks the first time a reputable Dutch source has spoken about Reijnders and confirmed things are moving towards completion.

  1. Stop haggling for change and get it done! Or move on. Either way, end this thing one way or another. We don’t want another endless Sanches/CDK-drama here.
