AC Milan are working on the renewal of Rafael Leao and feel confident even if they have not yet reached an agreement, a report claims.
According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), this week it could be very important in the Leao renewal saga. In the next few hours, the winger’s lawyer Ted Dimvula is expected in Milan where he will meet up with Leao’s father.
There has been a certain optimism around the negotiation for a few days already, also because Milan are ready to make a very important economic effort in order to try and keep hold of their most decisive player.
The management are willing to put on the table a salary worth €7-7.5m net per season including bonuses to convince Rafa to extend. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara hope to reach a definitive agreement by the end of this week, to put the issue to bed at last.
