AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has decided to exclude three players from the matchday squad for tonight’s game against Salernitana.
MilanNews report that Junior Messias has not been named among the 26 players who will be available for tonight’s match against the Granata and that was known before the game given he sustained a thigh injury in the draw against Spurs in midweek.
However, there are two more noteworthy exclusions as Tiemoue Bakayoko and Sergino Dest are absent from the team sheet but there has been no mention in the build-up to the game about a potential injury for either.
Dest has not been named in the squad for the last few games now and seems to be completely outside of the plans unless he is battling an injury Pioli has not disclosed, but it seemed Bakayoko had jumped above the likes of Vranckx and Pobega after his use against Monza and Fiorentina.
