Di Marzio: AC Milan’s post-Rodriguez plans; signal expected from Fenerbahce

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan remain active on the transfer market. In addition to reinforcing the squad with new players, the Rossoneri are also looking to get rid off some dead wood, thus making way for the new signings.

During tonight’s show on Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), Gianluca Di Marzio provided us with some updates on Milan’s transfer market. On the Rodriguez front, the Rossoneri are in no hurry, waiting to understand if Fenerbahce can unlock their financial situation.

As he adds, should the Swiss international leave, then Milan will probably bring in a young backup full-back. Alternatively, they could decide to go for a player that can alternate between the centre-back and left-back position.

Speaking of defenders, Gabbia could also leave the club on loan, per the reporter. The likes of Sampdoria, Brescia and Verona are interested in the youngster, who will need continuous playing time to continue his development.
