AC Milan resumed training at Milanello today after being given yesterday off following the 1-0 win over Napoli on Sunday night.
It is a great moment for Stefano Pioli’s Milan after they secured a very important victory at the Stadio Diego Maradona, so naturally there will have been a real buzz about today’s training session under the eyes of the management in view of Saturday’s game against Empoli.
According to what Gianluca Di Marzio has told PazziDiFanta, Alessio Romagnoli is getting better and his return is getting closer and closer. Today he did individual work on the field but the feeling is that he will soon be able to return to the group.
Olivier Giroud came out battered from the last match due to a bad cut on the ankle and then a sprained ankle, but he trained in full with the squad, and the same can be said for for Zlatan Ibrahimovic so both strikers are therefore at the disposal of Pioli.
