Di Marzio: De Ketelaere may not arrive in Milan until tomorrow

By Euan Burns -

Belgian midfielder Charles De Ketelaere may not arrive in Milan to have his AC Milan medical until Monday, a report claims.

As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, there seems to have been a slight change of plans when it comes to the schedule of De Ketelaere’s arrival.

After a very long and drawn-out negotiation, Milan finally agreed on a fee with Club Brugge for the attacker. The Rossoneri will pay €36 million including bonuses and the Belgian champions will get a percentage of any future resale.

It was expected that he would arrive in Milan on Sunday and then have his medical on the Monday followed by signing his contract at Casa Milan.

It now seems that he will arrive first thing on Monday morning and then he will have his medical on Monday. The necessary steps to conclude the transfer and the announcement will take place on Tuesday.

    1. Hamstring is a tricky injury, even if the pain is gone, it is still tender, if rushed while still tender, it will recur. So better wait till the hamstring is back in strong condition rather than rushing it, lessen the chance he become injury prone like Renato.
