Former AC Milan sporting director Leonardo is on the verge of a return to Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
The Brazilian left his post with the Rossoneri last week, reportedly due to disagreements with CEO Ivan Gazidis over the strategy for the upcoming summer.
There were persistent rumours linking Leonardo with a return to PSG, the club who he left in order to come back to Milan, and now it appears that is all but a formality.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website claims that the 49-year-old will move back to France and replace Antero Henrique as PSG’s sporting director.
Leonardo signed the likes of Marco Verratti, Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic during his first stint with the Parisians, and brought the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Mattia Caldara, Lucas Paqueta and Krzysztof Piatek to Milan.
