Di Marzio: Milan’s four transfer targets that are still at Euro 2024

By Euan Burns -

Four of the players that AC Milan have been linked most with during the summer transfer window are still at Euro 2024 and will be in action for the semi-finals this week.

As highlighted by Gianluca Di Marzio (via Milan News), the Rossoneri will be watching the rest of Euro 2024 perhaps more intently than any other club.

In terms of their own players, Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan are with France and have a semi-final against Spain to navigate this evening, whilst Tijjani Reijnders will be playing for the Netherlands against England on Wednesday night.

As for the transfer targets, the semi-final between Spain and France will see Alvaro Morata in action, and he will be up against two midfield targets in the shape of Adrien Rabiot and Youssouf Fofana.

Morata appears to be the primary striker option for Milan now with Joshua Zirkzee destined to join Manchester United, whilst Fofana has been linked for a very long time. Rabiot is more of an opportunistic option.

In the other match, Milan will be keeping an eye on Memphis Depay who has been linked recently, given he is now without a club and would be available to the Rossoneri without paying a transfer fee.
