Di Marzio: Milan in talks with Tonali’s entourage over summer move; latest on Ibrahimovic

By Oliver Fisher -

Respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has offered an update on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sandro Tonali amid the speculation surrounding the pair.

The rumours regarding the Swede continue to change hour by hour, with the latest hypothesis doing the rounds in the Italian media being one suggesting he could play for Hammarby in Sweden, the team he owns 25% of.

Di Marzio (via MilanLive) has confirmed that there is not a high chance of the 38-year-old staying at Milan for another season due to ‘mutual desire’ – i.e. both parties agreeing it is best to go their separate ways.

The hottest name at the moment with regards to the Rossoneri market is Sandro Tonali. Di Marzio states that Milan have started contacts with the player’s entourage to understand the margins of a negotiation that promises to be difficult.

Tonali is considered a perfect profile for Milan and their youth project, but there is competition from Inter and Juventus in Italy and abroad Real Madrid are also in the race.
