Di Marzio: Milan outcast still on Parma’s radar but deal hinges on Roma man

In addition to signings, Milan are also looking to offload a few players this month and have already parted ways with Leo Duarte and Andrea Conti. The next in line could be Mateo Musacchio, who is out of the project.

The Argentine defender has made just one appearance for the Rossoneri since February, playing from start in the Coppa Italia clash against Torino last week. He’s no longer part of the club’s project and his contract will expire this summer.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Parma are still interested in his services and could perhaps make a move. However, it all depends on Federico Fazio. The Roma man is the first choice and only if he doesn’t accept the move, they could go for Musacchio.

For Milan, it would be a bonus to let the former Villarreal player go this month as they would save the remaining salary (roughly €1.6m gross). However, the defender doesn’t seem too interested in moving early.
