RedBird are pleased with the work of Viktor Bezhani, the sporting director of their other club Toulouse, and could thus bring him to AC Milan.
In case you didn’t know, Milan isn’t the only football club that RedBird and Gerry Cardinale own. Their first venture into European football was actually Toulouse, buying the club after the relegation to Ligue 2, bringing it to the top tier the following season.

Some reports have suggested that RedBird are looking to move on from their French experiment but that hasn’t happened yet. Collaboration between Toulouse and Milan is very much possible, as such, similarly to Chelsea and Strasbourg.
Bezhani making waves
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, one of the key figures at Toulouse is the sporting director Bezhani. He has made a name for himself in recent years, discovering several players that the French side have been able to sell for good money or, alternatively, will eventually be able to sell.
RedBird are ‘pleased’ with his work and the approach he has taken, which is why he could also be considered for a role at Milan. Indeed, with Igli Tare set to leave this summer, the Rossoneri will need someone else in that role.
Of course, first and foremost, Milan will have to decide a direction before going into the specifics of the personnel.

Tare was also great at Lazio. It is not the same job. And Lazio is a much bigger club than Toulouse. But I don’t know the guy, maybe he is great.
Didn’t Toulouse fans recently protest RedBird ? So someone doing a “good job” according to RedBird is being protested.
Yeh nothing makes sense.. and in the space of two days we go from DiAmico to this dude no one’s heard of…
This is from DiMarzio – do you ever take anything he says seriously? I don’t …
They weren’t protesting this but the ticket prices. This guy has nothing to do with ticket pricing. So the protest is against Redbird and possibly management of Toulouse, not the sport director and the players he got or sold.
In one of their banners you can actually read: “Redbird: one year on, still no answer, what’s your plan for TFC ?”
So it doesn’t look they were only protesting the price ticket, but also the overall strategy related to them which has to involve the sporting director right ?
Yes, you are right about the banner saying this, but how would a sporting director change the strategy? They guy is doing good. In 6 years they got from Ligue 2 to being 10th in Ligue 1 and won the French cup for the first time in history. I don’t see that as bad results for a club like that. Maybe they don’t know the direction and its unclear but Redbird didn’t do bad there as they did here. I am the last to defend them, couldn’t hate those people more. But realistically. Also, Tare did good at Lazio, but that mid club experience didn’t help at Milan. So I don’t think this guy is the right man to hire. Still, nobody is protesting him….
We could have gotten de zerbi and by now we wouldn’t have been talking about a complete overhaul but alas here we are again, same spot and millions spent.
Lol, that’s more like Redbird. D’Amico will go to Rome or elsewhere.
nooo.. it’s must be opposite, jery should bring some Italian to TFC,
here is enough w/ just 1 moncada, causing chaos w/ his average French & xChelsea bias
