AC Milan will part ways with Yunus Musah shortly, it seems. However, the club are getting a fantastic deal on the face of it.
Since joining Milan, Musah has struggled to iron out a place in the team. Whether as a starter or rotational option, the midfielder has not been able to make himself a go-to, and this is not just in one position, unfortunately.

He would always need time, but there has been a difference between the level of expectation and the level of acceptance. For the former Arsenal academy player, he has fallen short of both, so the gamble has not paid off.
Never dying interest
With Napoli being interested last summer, it is somewhat of a gift that they have remained in the picture for the American. However, Antonio Conte’s appreciation for the midfielder has not changed, and he will get his target a summer late.
Things have moved quickly, and it could be finalised in the next few days, with Gianluca DI Marzio providing an update for Sky, as Milan News transcribes.
“Napoli are very close to Musah, draft agreement between the two clubs: it is a total deal of 25 million euros. It was a lightning deal, concluded in just a few hours. Together with Kevin De Bruyne, Conte will therefore also have Musah at his disposal.”

The regret was he didn’t sell him a year ago and got someone who was actually useful. We could be in the UCL had “The Potential One” managed to play even once a decent match and helped the team but no… Too much to ask from him.
Sounds like we got ourselves 100M€ to rebuild the midfield. No more excuses now to bring quality players. Hope RLC , Adli, Benny are next
I’m more concerned about Milan signing old players in their 30s and 40s which is beyond stupid if we are selling our young players and players in their prime.
I’m not excited about none of the players linked to Milan especially Rabiot, Modric and Xhaka. Even Rici doesn’t excite me given that there are better and cheaper options like Frendrup and Rovella.
I don’t know what they building at Milan but it better be something good.
Mad about unproven youngsters. Mad about old proven winners. A good team needs a mix of both. We can’t go about buying every top player in their prime now can we?
Maldini argued that Milan had to sprinkle in experience into the squad along with the younger players for balance.
A couple of veterans here and there would make sense. Seems Modric is done. one more experienced player would suffice. But the rest has to be a younger core.
