Ahead of the game between AC Milan and Salernitana, scheduled for 20:45 CET, Brahim Diaz shared his thoughts with the media. The Rossoneri No.10 will play from start for the third consecutive game (all comps).
It’s been a season of ups and downs for Diaz but it seems he’s finding his groove once again, following what was a tough period after recovering from Covid-19. In fact, he has been an important player for Milan lately.
In an interview with Milan, as cited by MilanNews, the Real Madrid loanee spoke about tonight’s clash and the form he’s in. Hopefully, he will put in yet another good performance for the Rossoneri.
On tonight’s game…
“It will be a difficult match, we have to believe in what we are doing. We have a winning spirit, it will be a pretty hot match but we have to win.”
On his personal moment…
“I feel good, I’m a guy who helps the team and I do everything I can, as I have to do. We are a team with a lot of talent but also with a lot of spirit of sacrifice. We have to demonstrate this a lot this evening too.”
On the fans that welcomed the Rossoneri in Salerno…
“It was incredible, our fans are very warm both at home and away. With them I always feel at home, I have to say thank you to them because they are incredible. I’m happy to see this spirit with us.”
Milan are currently just one point ahead of Inter (who have a game in hand) and they need to claim all three points today to maintain the pressure. One slip-up could end up being very costly for Pioli’s men at this stage of the season.
