CorSera: Diaz expected to return from injury for Milan against Torino

By Euan Burns -

Spanish midfielder Brahim Diaz is expected to be back on the Milan starting eleven for the match against Torino having suffered a minor injury, a report claim.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera today (via Milan News), the attacking midfielder had to come off with a slight injury against Monza in the most recent Serie A match which ended 4-1 to the Rossoneri.

He was on the bench for the Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb in midweek but Stefano Pioli opted not to use him and risk an aggravation of the injury.

He likely also had the Serie A match against Torino on Sunday night in mind and the Spaniard is set to start that one.

He will take the place of Belgian youngster Charles De Ketelaere who is yet to make a serious impact for the Rossoneri since joining from Club Brugge.

Diaz has been on a superb recent run of form and will look to continue that on Sunday.
