For almost the entire game against Udinese, the AC Milan fans cheered on the team and sang the chants as usual. Therefore, it was rather disturbing to see just eight players thanking the Curva Sud after the 1-0 defeat.
Stefano Pioli and his men were rightfully booed and whistled at full-time, following a sub-par performance against a relegation-battle team. For most of the encounter, however, the Rossoneri fans chanted and supported the team as usual.
After the game, just eight players (eleven including the Primavera boys) went over to the Curva Sud to thank them for their support, met by whistles in return. The rest of the squad went straight down the tunnel, in addition to head coach Stefano Pioli, as you can see in the video below.

The players in question were Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Yacine Adli, Alessandro Florenzi, Tommaso Pobega and Mike Maignan. The youngsters Lapo Nava, Jan-Carlo Simic and Davide Bartesaghi were also present, but of course didn’t feature during the game.
