A discussion that took place in the dressing room during the week prompted Davide Calabria’s message on Instagram to try and protect the team from some damaging rumours.
Calabria felt the need to speak out on behalf of the squad and posted a message on his Instagram story to address some of the stories aimed at the team yesterday, referring to them as ‘innumerable falsehoods’.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), it was in the days following the last defeat in the league that the players gathered together in the dressing room to address the flurry of rumours that have been circulating, some of them very personal regarding certain squad members.
The message was clear: “Defeats on the field have nothing to do with it, these are people who only want harm us and our families, we need to put a stop to it.”
It was then decided that it would be captain Calabria who spoke on behalf of the entire Rossoneri group on social media to try and stamp out the damaging and baseless allegations.
Despite he’s not the best Milan player in the field but fans like me really appreciate how Calabria handle this situation.
The sad thing is there are glory hunter fans who only care about winning but they never appreciate players like Calabria.
