AC Milan have been handed a boost in their potential hopes of signing Brahim Diaz permanently if reports coming from Spain are to be believed.
According to what was stated by the Spanish newspaper El Nacional (via SempreMilan.it), Brahim Diaz’s future could be decided by Marcos Asensio’s and whether or not he remains with Real Madrid.
The playmaker is currently on a deal which expires in June but he has had a good season and is in fact one step away from signing an extension with Los Blancos. In turn, this means that they might not have room in the squad for Brahim Diaz.
Milan have the option to buy Brahim for €22m, a figure which Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are unlikely to spend once his three years of loan runs out.
However, the Asensio situation might then push Real Madrid to accept a lower offer from the Rossoneri for the 23-year-old.
Why would they accept a lower offer when another team would pay more than the agreed amount of 22 mil?
If they do good for them, Diaz is only good in bursts, he has done nothing for 3 games now
