Elliott give their go-ahead to AC Milan for Ibrahimovic transfer

By Madison Derian-Toth -

For some time, AC Milan have been working on bringing back star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and reports from Italy this morning claim that Elliott have given their permission for the club to sign the forward.

In fact, Sky Italia suggest that the American hedge fund have given the green light for a contract worth €4m per year, although the length of it hasn’t been decided yet. With all sides (Elliott and Milan) agreeing to bring the forward back, it falls on the shoulders of the man himself.

Ibrahimovic has recently said that he is loyal to the LA Galaxy as long as they meet his contract needs, while he has also ruled out a loan move. This means that the move to AC Milan would be a permanent move, with the Swede looking for more than just six months at the San Siro.

Leonardo is nervous about the deal because fans have gotten ahead of themselves, thinking the deal is practically done. However, the Rossoneri’s sporting director knows that Zlatan needs time to decide and that is exactly what he is going to give him.
